A sponsorship package turns a request for support into a clear partnership proposal. Within a few minutes, a brand should understand who you are, what you need, what you offer and how results will be measured. Long presentations and vague promises make this difficult.
The aim is not to put every fact in one file, but to organize the verifiable information needed for a decision. This structure works for athletes, teams, clubs, organizations and creators.
Start with a concise introduction
Explain your identity, activities and current objective. Highlight the league and city for a team, the competitive level for an athlete or the topic and audience for a creator. Select achievements relevant to the offer.
Use a current lead image, a short profile and key figures. Old achievements, poor-quality images and unnecessary personal details distract from the decision.
Explain the need and project scope
Separate season funding, competition entry, equipment, transport, accommodation and production support. Explain what the requested amount makes possible.
Show the date range, important events and delivery plan. If dates are not final, state approximate periods and confirmation conditions rather than hiding uncertainty.
Make the rights concrete
List logo use, jersey or equipment exposure, posts, video integration, appearances, product experiences and employee activities. Give a quantity, channel and period for each deliverable.
Replace 'social media promotion' with a defined scope, such as two short videos and three stories. Discuss who produces content, approvals and reuse rights during negotiation.
Offer options for different budgets
A single package can limit the conversation. Consider main partner, supporting partner and product partner levels, while keeping the differences easy to understand.
Price depends on production costs, events, usage rights, category exclusivity and campaign duration as well as audience size. Explain any conditions that differ for in-kind support.
Include a measurement and reporting plan
Choose relevant indicators: reach, views, engagement, clicks, code use, attendance or media coverage. Define baselines and reporting periods where possible.
Finish with a contact person, response channel and suggested next step. Make clear that final contract, payment and usage-right terms will be agreed separately.
How many pages should a sponsorship package have?
There is no fixed length. A brand should understand the essentials quickly and find more detail when needed. A short introduction, scope, audience, options, deliverables, measurement and contact information are usually sufficient. Remove repeated achievements and unnecessary images.
